Distance has a cost
Across an ocean there will always be some extra ping. The goal is to cut the excess.

Connection quick guide
How to play Battlefield™ 2042 on your home server from abroad
Distance still exists, so your ping won't match what you get at home. What can improve are the detours: GamesTC finds the most direct path to the Battlefield™ 2042 server in your home region. Your account's region rules still apply.
Route back home
Your Battlefield™ 2042 traffic travels through nodes chosen toward your home server's region.
Account and region
GamesTC improves the route but doesn't change your account's region rules.
Same friends, same server
Keep playing with your usual group, even from far away.
