Smart Route
Compares available paths and applies an alternative route only when measurements indicate a benefit. If the direct route is better, it may be kept.
Practical guides to install the app, configure your route and understand connection quality without unnecessary complexity.
Download from the official source
Use the GamesTC download page and avoid installers shared through messages, forums or third-party websites.
Close other VPNs
Temporarily disconnect other VPN or proxy apps to prevent conflicts during the initial setup.
Authorize the installation
Run the installer as administrator and allow only the signed components shown by the official setup wizard.
Finish and restart if requested
Complete the wizard. If Windows asks for a restart, do it before opening the app for the first time.
Sign in and check the version
Open GamesTC, sign in and accept updates offered by the app itself before starting a match.
Open GamesTC
Start the app and wait until your account and game library finish loading.
Access your account
Sign in with your username or email. If two-factor verification is enabled, complete it before continuing.
Choose the correct game
Open the game in the app library and confirm that the profile matches the title you are going to run.
Select the match region
Choose the city or region of the game server, not simply the city closest to your physical location.
Enable optimization
Click "Optimize" and wait for the connected state before joining the match.
Validate before playing
Check the server, route and ping in the panel. Change routes outside a match to avoid reconnecting during gameplay.
GamesTC can use a direct route or an optimized route. The choice considers the observed quality to the game destination and may change with region, ISP and time of day.
Compares available paths and applies an alternative route only when measurements indicate a benefit. If the direct route is better, it may be kept.
Choose the actual match location whenever you know it. A wrong city may optimize the path to a destination other than the game server.
When available and configured for the game, it connects to the selected profile after detecting a compatible game or launcher. Review the profile before enabling it.
Recalculate after changing ISP or game region, or after persistent degradation. Run the test outside an active match.
The lowest isolated number does not always mean the best experience. Compare metrics for a few minutes and look for consistency.
The round-trip time for data. Lower values help, but they should remain stable throughout the match.
The variation in ping. Large swings can cause irregular delays even when the average looks good.
Data that did not reach its destination. It may cause teleporting, delayed commands, broken voice chat or disconnects.
Close downloads and streams, test for a few minutes and compare the same region. When possible, use Ethernet to separate Wi-Fi interference from a routing issue.
Use the app and your account safely. GamesTC optimizes the connection path, but it does not replace basic care for Windows and your personal data.
Download and update only through official channels. Do not run modified versions or files sent by strangers.
Use a unique password, enable two-factor verification when available, and never share codes, sessions or account access.
Do not permanently disable protection. If something is blocked, check quarantine and allow only official GamesTC files.
Confirm the plan, billing period and amount in the official checkout. Support never needs your password, authentication code or full card details.
Restart Windows, run the official installer as administrator and check whether antivirus quarantined a file. Do not permanently disable protection.
Check your connection, keep Windows date and time automatic, and try again. If two-factor verification is enabled, use only the latest code.
Check your internet connection and Network Status, disconnect another VPN or proxy, and try an available server in the same region.
Confirm the actual game server city, close downloads and compare the direct route with Smart Route outside the match. Check jitter and packet loss as well.
Check that the feature is enabled on the correct profile, that the game or launcher is compatible, and that the app is still running. Test a manual connection to separate the profile from a general network issue.
Test with Ethernet, restart your modem and router, and close programs uploading or downloading large amounts of data. If it continues, note the time, game, region and displayed message for support.
